Banyu Wana Amertha in the Morning Mist

I got the chance to visit Bali on the way home from a family trip to China. Bali is renowned for its waterfalls, so I wanted to visit a few and take pictures. At the same time, I knew many of the popular waterfalls would have lines of tourists waiting for an Instagram photo. To avoid these crowds, I needed to pick a spot away from the major tourist centers and get up super early. My choice was Banyu Wana Amertha, a gorgeous waterfall located about two hours north of the tourist hub in southern Bali. I also arranged for a driver to pick me up at 4:30 in the morning to make sunrise at 6:30. My partner, bless her, decided to come with me. We ended up having this gorgeous waterfall to ourselves for a few hours, so I had the chance to take photos from several angles. Of all the photos I took, I like this one the most because of the small red flowers and varied leaves in the foreground. Additionally, the stream leads your eyes towards the main attraction: a visually interesting waterfall made up of numerous small cascades. After this waterfall, we explored a few other waterfalls in the area and learned about the local flora from a guide. I'd consider it one of the best dates I've planned so far! Also, shoutout to our driver, who expertly navigated numerous winding roads on the way there and back.
